Water adventures available in Fairbanks, Alaska include: fishing, canoeing, float trips, rafting, and even glacier hiking. Below are just a few:

Alaska Raft Adventures
You can take a side trip to Denali National Park while visiting in Fairbanks, and this company will take you rafting on the Nenana River in the park, and then return you to the Denali Train Depot for your ride back to Fairbanks. All equipment is provided. Call (907) 276-7234 for reservations and more information. 
 
They will not take pregnant women or alcoholic beverages. Their trips are designed for different ages - the Wilderness run will take children 5 or over, but they will need to be 12 for the Canyon Run, for example. 1998 prices for both trips were $47 per adult, $23 for children under 12.
 
Alaska Outdoor Rentals & Guides

They bill themselves as "the largest Canoe, Kayak, Bicycle rental in Interior Alaska." They have a full retail store that sells Kayaks, Canoes, Paddlewear and many other things. They are located on the Chena River at Pioneer Park. A major attraction is a paddle excursion from Pioneer Park to the Pump House Restaurant and Bar, and they pick up the people and the boats and at the Pump House. Alexander's River Adventure
Offers a cruise of the Chena and Tanana Rivers with a Native born Athabascan Indian who has traveled the rivers for a lifetime.
 
Canoe Alaska
Adventure using 5 or 6 man "paddle rafts." Canoe Alaska also teaches canoeing (with canoes, of course).
 
Eagle Canoe Rentals
This Eagle-based business offers canoe and raft rentals for trips on the Yukon River. From Eagle to Circle, Alaska is 165 miles (265 Kilometers), a five day trip for $165 per canoe. You turn in your canoe in Circle. For more information, call Mike Sager at (907) 547-2203.

Especially fun in the middle of winter, three major hot springs attract locals seeking a respite from a cold winter.
 
Interior AK Adventures, LLC
This Fairbanks company tries to do it all! They have day raft trips ($85), day fishing trips ($95), Glacier Hiking day trips ($155), as well as Fly-out wilderness float and fishing trips. Arctic Grayling Guide Service
Fishing in the Interior for Arctic Grayling, & King, Silver, and Chum Salmon. One day guided trips are $295 per person (for a 2 person trip) or you can take an unguided overnight trip for $195 per person (they will drop you off in the evening and pick you up 24 hours later). Childs Charters
This Fairbanks entrepreneur offers full or half day fishing trips, as well as sightseeing tours. Call (907) 455-6028 for more information and prices.
 
Fly-In Fishing w/Marina Air, Inc.
This local business has reasonable rates for a full day fishing trip - $135 per person includes a boat with motor. For $160, you can get an overnight trip with a private cabin, boat and motor. Lil' Fox Charters

The Riverboat Discovery
Considered by many of our guests to be the premier attraction in the Fairbanks area. 3-4 hour narrated trip that begins and ends in Fairbanks.
 
Wilderness Enterprises
This company offers guided float trips from Fairbanks with an emphasis on nature study, history, photography, wildlife viewing and fishing. 2-3 hours is $35 per person, 3-5 is $55 per person. Or you can take an overnight trip for $400 per person which includes a 6-8 hour float, lodging, and return airfare to Fairbanks. They also rent canoes and rafts.
