Visitor Guides for Alaska
Of course, we think this site is one of the best visitor guides for
Fairbanks. But if you plan to go anywhere else in Alaska, you may need more. So
here is what we have gathered for you:
Guidebooks
The Milepost: Classic guide on driving to and within Alaska.
Look for information at their Web site,
www.milepost.com,
including routes and a driving-distance calculator. Their printed
Milepost guide, the bible of many drivers, is updated annually and available
through the Web site or by phoning 800-726-4707.
Bells Alaska Travel Guide: 413B 19th Street, #170, Lynden, WA 98264
Phone 250-768-2426 Much good information is on their website, such as a
mile by mile description similar to the Milepost.
