Tanana Air Service

This is a small commuter/charter air service with scheduled passenger and cargo service in Interior Alaska. 

Located in Fairbanks, they have satellite stations in Aniak, Galena, Kotzebue, and McGrath.

This airline is the primary carrier for several mining operations and a Lake Minchumina wilderness lodge (near Denali National Park.) Their flights service the Yukon and Kuskokwim River valleys, (base locations for hunting and fishing expeditions). 

They also have scheduled service above the Arctic Circle from Fairbanks to seven villages on mail planes, Monday through Friday. Two seats are available for passengers on these planes for air tours during summer months. Certificates are given those who pass over the Arctic Circle.

This service operates single-engine, low-wing Piper airplanes that carry four or five passengers, depending upon size, as well as one twin-engine plane that carries up to seven passengers.
