Fairbanks Community Band
All rehearsals are 7-9 pm in the
Old Train Depot (adjacent to the News-Miner building), across Phillips Field
Rd from the (closed but prominent) Ace Hardware/OK Lumber building.

jazz band meets Wednesdays. The jazz band leader is Brian Cade. The concert
band meets Thursdays. The director is Wendy Ward. Assistant director is Jim

The Greatland Sounds Chapter of S.P.E.B.S.Q.S.A.,
a men's barbershop chorus, meets every Tuesday evening at 7 at the Church of
Christ Northern Lights, 645 11th Ave. All men who enjoy singing are welcome

Northern Lights Council of Dancers
represents square, round and folk dancers in the interior. Our link leads to

Farthest North Square and Round
Dance Center, located in Pioneer Park. They have their own

9th Army Band Holiday Concert
(12/11/09) 7:30 p.m. The 9th Army "Arctic Groove Orchestra" will
present this holiday concert at Hering Auditorium. Staff Sgt. Victor Burns
will lead the Orchestra as they perform many well-known and a few
not-so-well-known songs appropriate for the holidays. The concert is free
