There
are many hotels, motels, and even a few hostels in Fairbanks. As these pictures show, you
CAN find quality accommodations and lodging with
reasonable rates, in Fairbanks.
This is a typical "single"
at the Ranch Motel. The TV is cable, and the doorway leads to a full bath and shower, with
a separate vanity area. All have queen-sized beds,
but some have tables and some have couches.
Our
answer to those who have requested pictures of the motel.
"What is the best hotel or motel of Fairbanks Alaska to stay
in?" It is a question we hear a lot. The Ranch Motel is the answer,
as far as we
are concerned, at the risk of seeming immodest!
We understand the need to see what you are getting - a "pig in
a poke" may really turn out to be a "pig" when you arrive! We get enough
business as it is from folks who have arrived at another motel in town and taken one look
at the room they were expected to pay for. If you don't mind us blowing our own
horn, the Ranch has very nice, very clean rooms - we know you will be pleased.
All rooms are on the ground floor, each with its own outside door,
so you can park right in front of your unit. There is also a second parking area for
larger rigs. The Home Town Restaurant is on site. They
serve all meals, opening for breakfast at 6 a.m. (breakfast is available all
day)
Important - Cancellation Policy
48-hour notice is required to cancel a
reservation. If you do not cancel in time, you will be charged for the
first night, and the next day your room will be released for
re-rental.
The
trick is to find a place with management which believes strongly in continual, careful
maintenance and is picky about room cleanliness.
Each room is decorated slightly
differently, but all are immaculate. This is one "double" at the Ranch
Motel. Doubles have two double beds. This photo is looking toward the entrance.
Speaking of business travelers, the motel has a fax
machine (907-456-8031) and a copier for your convenience.
