Parks Highway route
This shuttle service serves any point between
Anchorage, Nenana, Healy, Denali Park, Cantwell, Talkeetna, Wasilla,
and Fairbanks. They have a chart of prices, but "flag stop"
service is available at any point along the route. You can get
off for as long as you wish, then continue with them when
another bus comes through. Reservations are not required and
walk-ons are welcome, but they do not guarantee you a seat
during peak travel days. This one route serves daily north and
south in the summer. In the winter,
it goes south on
Sunday, Tuesday & Friday, and travels north on Monday, Wednesday, and
Saturday. Rates vary with the stop.

Top of the World route
This route includes all points between Fairbanks,
Tok, and Dawson City, Yukon. It is a combination of several scenic
"highways", about 100 miles each: Richardson Highway,
Alaska Highway, and the Taylor Highway. The last 80 miles
(127km) is the part from the junction of the Taylor Highway and
Dawson City, Yukon. It is this portion of the route with
its hairpin curves, and high elevation along the spine of a
series of mountain ranges that give the highway its name.
Parks Highway Express departs Fairbanks three times a week for
Dawson City.
The Taylor Highway (45 miles) is gravel road
that takes in many varied landscapes, from boreal forest to alpine
tundra. This is a route open only during the summer months,
(May-September).
The
Klondike Scenic Tour is offered 3 days a week between Dawson City and
Whitehorse, along the Klondike Highway, with stops at the Braeburn Lodge
and in Stewart and Pelly Crossing.
If traveling alone, call them to be put on a list or
to be notified if there are other individual travelers wanting to go.

Important note for Canada:
Point to Point service is not allowed in Canada.
Trips begun in Canada must be completed within Alaska.
